Extra Distribution Information
Occurs in the extreme south-west of Western Australia. All known specimens are from tall karri (Eucalyptus diversicolor F. Muell.) forest in the high rainfall zone. These forests extend in a narrow band along latitude 34-35°S, from Margaret River to Denmark, W.A..

Diagnosis
The ground colour in the forewings of this species varies between specimens from bright mid-brown to deep chocolate brown. The species is most readily distinguished by its dark colouring and confinement to Western Australia.
