Syntype(s) BMNH Rh10961 ♀, Australia (in original description and has not been more closely defined)
Comment: Westwood in the original description illustrated two specimens, and these were in the Linnean Society and Entomological Society collections both of which went to the BMNH; Waterhouse (1936: 4) located a female marked as a type and gave accession number.Type locality references:
