Diagnosis
Lamellar prolongation of selvage with hirsute fringe. First antenna: 3rd and 4th segments separated by distinct suture, a-seta of 7th segment not claw like. Second antenna: protopod without distomedial bristle. Mandibula: in female, coxal endite consisting of short spinous process with bifurcate tip; in male, coxal endite consisting of minute process. Maxilla: end segment usually with more than 8 bristles. Fifth limb: 2nd segment of exopod with large tooth. Sixth limb: consisting of 4 segments and large flat end segment. Seventh limb: tip with single comb opposite 1 or more pegs. Furca: all claws separated from lamella by suture.
