Superfamily PENAEOIDEA Rafinesque, 1815
Introduction
Five families are included: Aristeidae, Benthesicymidae, Penaeidae, Sicyoniidae and Solenoceridae.
Diagnosis
At least 11 branchiae on each side and usually pleurobranchs on some thoracic somites, some thoracic somites with at least 3 branchiae.
