   Holotype BMNH ♂ (Tindale (1935) recognised that no type locality was given with the original description but that the collector given, Morton Allport, resided in Hobart and forwarded Tasmanian Lepidoptera to the British Museum; Tindale concluded that the type locality was Tasmania), none given in original description.
