Introduction
This tribe is divided into four subtribes only one of which, the Opsiina, occurs in Australia. Five genera are recognised in Australia two of which contain known vectors of plant diseases either here or overseas. The species tend to be small with distinctive markings.
Diagnosis
The tribe can be defined, certainly in Australia, by having two aedeagal shafts each with a gonopore.
