Introduction

Omegapilla australis is a wide ranging species but most abundant in southern Australia. It can vary greatly in adult shell size and can be very abundant in some locations.

Diagnosis

Shell very small, bronze to orange-brown, pupiform, sinistral, smooth; whorls slightly rounded; aperture lunate with three barriers: a large parietal tooth, a small knob-like infrapalatal tooth well inside aperture and a slanted columellar tooth; height 3.5mm.
