Type species:
Pupa nelsoni Cox, 1864 by original designation.
Introduction
Omegapilla is a chiefly southern Australian genus and is represented by the single wide ranging Omegapilla australis. The Red Centre Pupilla (Gibbulinopsis) ficulnea (Tate, 1894) is dextrally coiled but otherwise very similar to Omegapilla australis. The combination of larger size, single parietal tooth and cylindrically pupiform shape distinguish Omegapilla from the somewhat similar Gastrocopta.
