Introduction

This species is known from a small number of localities in the Wet Tropics and Einasleigh Uplands Bioregions of far North Queensland. It was named after the author's son, Guillaume.

Ecological Descriptors

All stages: phloem feeder.

 

Diagnosis

This species can be recognized by the following combination of characters: (1) hind wings with conspicuous orange marking; (2) pro- and mesofemora and tibiae largely brown; (3) anal tube of male oblong, with posterior margin rounded; (4) centroventral part of gonostyli with long laminate process; (5) laterodorsal part of gonostyli with hooked process directed lateroventrally; (6) rather large size: 9.5–10 mm (Constant 2018).
