Species Okenia echinata Baba, 1949
Introduction
According to Paz-Sedano et al. (2021) Okenia echinata has been reported in southern Queensland, New South Wales (Riek 2004; Coleman 2008, 2015; Nimbs and Smith 2016) and Victoria (Nimbs and Smith 2016), Australia, and Albogad, Maharashtra, India (Bhave 2009), as well as other widespread Ino-Pacific localities. The southern Queensland specimens are differently coloured compared to the type material from Japan, therefore these authors refer their specimens to Okenia cf. echinata.
