Genus Notata Hampson, 1891
Type species:
Notata parva Hampson, 1891 by monotypy (Nilgiri plateau, India).- Diphtheraspis Meyrick, 1892 [Diphtheraspis Meyrick, 1892 was described in a paper authored by T.P. Lucas (Lucas, 1892 Proc. Roy. Soc. Qld. 8, p.7). Lucas often relied on Meyrick for his generic identifications and new genera were normally referred to as "Meyrick MS., gen. nov." in which case the authorship is attributed to Lucas, for example Pelobrochis T.P. Lucas, 1892. In the case of Diphtheraspis Meyrick, Lucas expressed the description differently "gen. nov. Meyr." and the new genus is expressly attributed to Meyrick in the introduction. Hampson (1900) and Watson et al. (1980) have justifiably attributed the genus to Meyrick].
Type species:
Diphtheraspis modicus Meyrick, 1892 by monotypy.
