• Ningaui timealeyi Archer, M. 1975. Ningaui, a new genus of tiny dasyurids (Marsupialia) and two new species, N. timealeyi and N. ridei, from arid Western Australia. Memoirs of the Queensland Museum 17: 237-249 [243].

  Type data:

   Holotype WAM M6181 ♀ spirit specimen & skull, 32.2 km SE of Mt Robinson, WA; reported as 23º12´S, 119º06´E by Kitchener & Vicker (1981: 22).

Usually associations with mid-dense hummock grassland preferably with upper stratum of open mallee or shrubs, climbs.
