Holotype ZMB 5040 one colony in alcohol, Frecinet Reach, Shark Bay, west of Middle Bluff up tothe north point of Heirisson Prong, Western Australia.
Status unknown, ZMB 6523 (this sample is recorded as a syntype in the ZMB database, but there is only one specimen mentioned in the original description), Western Australia.
