Introduction

This pale orange species is known from Bundaberg in SE Queensland and from Mt Wilson in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales.

Ecological Descriptors

Adult: phloem feeder.

 

Diagnosis

Allied to the last [N. vanduzeei (Kirkaldy)] but the basal margin (except extreme part) with a transverse band of minute brownish reticulations. Pronotum mottled with palebrown, with a well defined undulating ivorywhite median fascia. Male: genitalia much like those of the preceding species. Length 4¼ mm. (Kirkaldy 1907).
