Diagnosis
Integumental colour of head yellow, scutum black; postpronotal lobes black in male, yellow in female; scutellum with basal half black, apical half yellow; legs yellow. Pleurae integumental colour dark brown and yellow. Abdomen integumental colour black except narrow apical bands and broad lateral bands yellow. Hairs on frons black or dark brown. Reflective scales on scutum, scutellum and abdomen green. Wings with brown infuscation on basal 1/3, proximal to an imaginary line drawn through the tip of R1, r-m and the basal half of dm; this region poorly differentiated from hyaline apical 2/3. Haltere knob yellow. Body length 7.7-9.5 mm.
