Diagnosis
Integumental colour of head yellow, scutum black with yellow at sides; postpronotal lobes, scutellum and legs yellow. Pleurae yellow except ventral half of katepisternum, and meropleurite brown. Abdomen integumental colour with tergites 1 mostly yellow, tergites 2-7 black with posterior border narrowly yellow. Hairs on frons black. Reflective scales on scutum and scutellum green, on abdomen a mixture of green and coppery coloured. Wings with pale yellow infuscation on basal 2/3, apical 1/3 smoky-hyaline. Haltere knob yellow with brown spot on anterior margin. Body length 5.2-7.0 mm.
