Diagnosis

Integumental colour of head yellow, scutum black; postpronotal lobes, scutellum and legs yellow. Scape yellow in females, black in males. Pleurae yellow except ventral half of katepisternum, and ventral meropleurite brown-black. Abdomen integumental colour black except narrow lateral margins yellow. Hairs on frons yellow. Reflective scales on scutum, scutellum and abdomen green. Wings with yellow infuscation on basal 2/3, turning brownish distally. Wing marking poorly differentiated from hyaline apical 1/3. Haltere knob yellow. Body length 7.0-8.6 mm.
