Diagnosis
Integumental colour of head light brown, antennae black except basal 1/3 of scape brown. Thorax and abdomen black except legs dark brown. Hairs on frons black, long in male. Reflective scales on scutum, scutellum and abdomen green. Wings with brown infuscation on basal 2/3, graduating into smoky-hyaline apical 1/3. Haltere knob yellow with anterior half dark brown. Body length 4.2-6.0 mm.
