Vol. Deuxieme Partii 312 pp. [276] (Note: Desmarest [1860] appears to be the first to explicitly designate a type species for Necrobia; Olivier's [1795] listing of Necrobia violacea before N. rufipes and N. ruficollis can not be interpreted as intent of type species designation as it seems to have been by Corporaal [1950: 313]).
