Holotype AM K40942, KS8189 ♀ adult (Raven, R.J. 1984. A new diplurid genus from eastern Australia and a related Aname species (Diplurinae: Dipluridae: Araneae). Australian Journal of Zoology Supplementary Series 96: 1–51 [26 Jan. 1984] [31] designated the specimen AM KS58189 as a lectotype; this specimen, however, was labelled by Rainbow as 'TYPE'; as no other specimen, such as the 'half-grown' one mentioned by Rainbow & Pulleine following their description can be traced and registration refers to a single specimen, AM KS8189 is regarded as the holotype), Tamborine Mtn, QLD.
