Introduction
The northern limits of distribution for this species have been unclear and specimens from the tropical region of eastern Australia were described as Mustelus walkeri White & Last, 2008. However White et al. (2021) later established that M. walkeri is in fact synonymous with Mustelus antarcticus, thus extending the known range of this species well into the tropics.
