Introduction

Montidelos canerisi differs from M. exiguus by having a wider umbilicus. It differs from Microdelos pallida by the larger size shell with a much narrower umbilicus.

Diagnosis

Shell small, honey-yellow to orange with darker radial streaks, subdiscoidal with low-domed spire, last whorl very large and flared; protoconch shiny, with weak radial growth ridges, teleoconch sculpture of weak radials and prominent branched spiral wrinkles above, weak spiral grooves below; umbilicus relatively wide, V-shaped; diameter 5.5mm.
