Introduction

This large brown species is known only from the type locality on Cape York Peninsula, North Queensland. It was named "after Max and Barbara Moulds, collectors of the only known specimens, in recognition of their contribution to Australian entomology."

Diagnosis

This species can be differentiated from others in the genus on the basis of features of the male genitalia. A comprehensive description and illustrations were provided by Stevens (1990).
