Introduction
This genus is treated as part of a generic level review of Micropholcommatidae by Rix & Harvey (2010). Rix & Harvey recognise many undescribed species from both eastern and western Australia. Until species are fully revised, it should be noted that the distribution indicated here for the genus, and for several described species previously recorded as widespread, is based on old data. Several species of Micropholcomma were included in the molecular analysis by Rix, Harvey & Roberts (2008).
