Adult: diurnal, florivore (associated flora: Melicope micrococca (F.Muell.) T.G.Hartley [RUTACEAE] Hairy-leaved Doughwood (on flowers); Tristaniopsis laurina (Sm.) Peter G.Wilson & J.T.Waterh. [MYRTACEAE] Water Gum (on flowers)), volant.

Larva: wood-borer.

Williams (1995) recorded this species from Tristaniopsis laurina (Myrtaceae).
