Diagnosis

Small Sarsiellinae species, with maximum L around 0.8 mm. Well ornamented with fossae, and ridges, with prominent caudal process. Anterior incisure missing. Posterior infold with two strong, pappose dorsal bristles and several, small, scattered bristles medially and ventrally. Bristles c-, f- and g- normal, not claw-like. Endopod A2 oneor two-segmented, if two-segmented second segment very small. Apical bristle on the endopod absent. Terminal segment of the exopod A2 with two bristles. Coxal endite on Md reduced to a small spine. No exopod on Md. Endopod of L5 fused with basal endites, and not clearly pronounced. Terminus of L7 with teeth on both sides. UL with six pairs of claws, only the first pair fused with the lamella. Claws gradually decreasing in L. Females carrying up to three eggs in the brooding pouch. Bellonci organ not segmented, lateral eye present. Only juvenile males known.
