Maon sinuatus Fennah, 1964 by original designation.
Introduction
This monotypic genus is based on five males from Yanchep, north of Perth, Western Australia. Fennah (1964) described the male genitalia but did not illustrate them.

Diagnosis
In general appearance, Maon is broadly similar to the platybrachine genera Olonia Stål and Euronotobrachys Kirkaldy but, in addition to the characters given in the key in Fennah (1964: 159), it is readily separated from both by the shape and venation of the tegmina.
