Ecological Descriptors

All stages: phloem feeder.

 

Diagnosis

Head ventral surface, anteclypeus, lora and maxillary plates buff; frontoclypeus reddish brown, vertex posteriorly dark brown; eyes red. Pronotum declivous, red. Scutellum dull brown. Tegmen proximally pale yellow, distally testaceous; a wide red area between the costal border and the radius and a transverse median dark brown fascia; clavus yellow, anal margin dark brown; veins distally red. Thorax and abdomen ventral surface pale yellow. Legs pale yellow, bases of spurs on hind tibia, black. Length 4 mm (Evans 1941).
