This species is only known from the type series in BPBM from Sydney, New South Wales. It is unknown to the compiler.

Ecological Descriptors

All stages: phloem feeder.

 

Diagnosis

Resembles the last [Macropsis thyia Kirkaldy = Pedionis (Thyia) thyia (Kirkaldy)], but the face is not ridged and the pronotum is immaculate with dark punctures, tegminal pattern more obscure, a dark line across the base. There are 3 subapical cells. Length 3½ mm. (Kirkaldy 1907).
