Introduction

Womersley's original spelling of the name of this species was Ljunghia pulleini. However, as pointed out by Fain (1991), this is an error, since Womersley explicitly stated that the species is named after the arachnologist Pulleine. The name was emended to L. pulleinei by Fain (1991). Masan et al. (2012) pointed out that the specimens identified as L. pulleinei by Domrow (1975) may include more than one species.
