Type data:
Syntype(s) NMS 15 specimens (Johnson proposed this name as a 'nom. nov.' for the species record of De Man (1888) from Indonesia (see reference below), however, as this name is only a secondary synonym of Porcellana streptochira Miers, 1884 (= Lissoporcellana quadrilobata (Miers, 1884)), Johnson's Singapore material must have syntype status), Singapore.
