Diagnosis
4 submarginal cells. Sides of first 4 segments reddish; second, fifth and sixth tergites with white scales; venter reddish, with weak, white scales. Mesonoturn with brownish hairs, and with 3 longitudinal stripes of white, often poorly developed, scales; a short stripe of white hairs laterally above the base of wing. Hind margin of eye with white scales. Frons with black hairs.
