Subfamily Leptomysinae Hansen, 1910
Introduction
Leptomysinae comprises 29 genera and about 171 species (Price et al. 2001). Twelve genera and 27 species are known from Australian waters. Müller (1993) and Price et al. (2001) catalogued the family.
Diagnosis
Antenna 2 scale outer margin smooth, setose. 3rd–8th thoracopods endopod with fused carpus and propodus (tarsus), carpopropodus divided into a few subsegments. Marsupium composed of three pairs of oostegites. (Generated from Meland 2002)
