Introduction

This unusual looking leafhopper, with a hunchbacked appearance, is confined to the far northern parts of the Northern Territory and Queensland.

Ecological Descriptors

All stages: phloem feeder.

 

Diagnosis

Head and thorax pale or dark brown. Tegmen vitreous; veins brown with white bars. Length ♀ 10mm (Evans 1966).
