Syntype(s) BMNH 4 ♂, 1 ♀ (coll.: F.P. Dodd), Queensland.
Introduction
This smallish species is distributed between the tropical parts of Western Australia across the top end to tropical Queensland. The type locality was given by Distant (1907) as "Queensland" but the collector was F.P. Dodd who did most of his collecting in the wet tropics (see Monteith 1991). It is probable that Distant's type material came from this region. Evans (1937) suggested that K. parva may have been a synonym of K. tessellata Kirkaldy.
