- Kunanyia stephaniae Byrne, C.J. & Wei, N. 2012. Kunanyia stephaniae gen. nov. & sp. nov. (Lepidoptera: Geometridae: Ennominae): an unusual and rare diurnal moth from the mountains of Tasmania. Zootaxa 3503: 25-46 [29-45, figs 2, 3, 9, 10, 20, 21].
Type data:
Holotype TMAG F5426 ♂ (14 JAN 1992 P. B. McQuillan dolerite scree in subalpine woodland), TAS. Mt Wellington chalet 1050m [42.8905Sº 147.29362ºE].
Paratype(s) AM numerous ♂s & ♀s (in various collections including AM, BMNH, ANIC, SNSB, NMV and TMAG), various localities.

The CO1 barcode sequence fragments of three specimens of Kunanyia stephaniae gen. nov. and sp. nov., held in ANIC, were provided from BOLD (Barcode of Life Database) by iBOL (2012).
