Introduction
Yoshida and Koh (2011) resurrected Janula from synonymy under Episinus Walckenaer, in Latreille, 1809. Later, Rodrigues et al. (2022) transferred sixteen species from a polyphyletic Episinus to Janula, most of which were South American.
