Genus Hermannobates Hammer, 1961

Introduction
The genus Hermannobates is known from Australia only on the basis of unidentified species, as reported by Hunt (1994) (as Hermanniella sp.), Heatwole et al. (1981), Lee (1986), Colloff & Halliday (1998), Osler & Beattie (2001) and Proctor et al. (2002).
