Extra Ecological Information
In sheltered bays and estuaries, penetrating well up river to a minimum salinity of about 4 ‰ at high water, under rocks, logs or litter, or in burrows amongst grass, at or above high water level, on a variety of substrates from moist clay to course but muddy sand.
