[380: Note #741] (Heliocheilus aleurota (Lower, 1902) is a senior secondary homonym of H. aleurota (Hampson, 1903). In the original description, Lower (1902a) does not indicate a type or how many specimens he had. However, subsequently Lower (1918: 226) indicated that he had described the species from a single specimen which came from Derby. This is the same specimen as the holotype of H. aleurota (Hampson). H. aleurota (Lower) is a senior objective synonym of H. aleurota (Hampson), both being based on the same holotype)
