This genus is one of several monotypic endemic genera added to the Australian fauna by Webb (1983). An undescribed species is known from the Northern Territory.

Diagnosis
This genus is similar to Busoniomimus Maldonado Capriles, but the pronotum has very short and fine transverse striations, the apical regions of the forewings are shorter and the aedeagus has processes (Webb 1983).
