   Syntype(s) SAMA 31-002182, 31-002183 ♂ (Only one male specimen of Halone ophiodes from the Lucas collection was listed in Meyrick (1886), but because Lucas did not label the specimen as a type, it is not possible to determine which of the two Lucas specimens of H. ophiodes in SAMA was Meyrick's type), Victoria.
