Family GRANDJEANICIDAE Kethley, 1977
Introduction
The family Grandjeanicidae includes a single genus with three described species, two of which were described from soil in southern Africa. The single species known from Australia appears to feed on fungal hyphae, spores, and other small mites (Walter 2001). Proctor et al. (2011) reported unidentified Grandjeanicidae from rainforest in Queensland.
