- Aioliops tetrophthalmus Rennis, D.S. & Hoese, D.F. 1987. Aioliops, a new genus of ptereleotrine fish (Pisces: Gobioidei) from the tropical Indo-Pacific with descriptions of four new species. Records of the Australian Museum 39: 67-84 figs 1-17 [79, figs 15- 16].
