Introduction

This species is unknown to the compiler. it is possible that the Australian record is incorrect. The species was originally described from Sarawak in Malaysia and subsequently recorded from Fergusson River in the Pine Creek region of the Northern Territory by Lallemand & Synave (1953) but no other specimens appear to exist in collections and the record remains unconfirmed.

Ecological Descriptors

All stages: phloem feeder.

 

Diagnosis

Pale testaceous. Wings hyaline; veins whitish testaceous. Length of the body 3 lines; of the wings 10 lines. (Walker 1857).
