Holotype BMNH ♂, Mittagong, New South Wales.
Introduction
Nielsen & Kumata (1996) regarded Eurytyla automacha Meyrick, 1893 as an "unplaced species in Gracillariidae", despite E. automacha being the type species of the monotypic genus Eurytyla, which was originally described in the family Tineidae (see introduction to the genus).
