  Type species:

   Eurytyla automacha Meyrick, 1893 by monotypy.

Introduction

Eurytyla was described in the Tineidae. Later on, it was included in the "Lyonetiadae" by Fletcher (1929: 92). It was treated in the Tineidae in Nye and Fletcher (1991: 125). It was transferred to the Gracillariidae from the Tineidae by Robinson & Nielsen (1993: 327). The genus was not included in Nielsen & Kumata (1996), while its type species was regarded as "unplaced species of Gracillariidae".
