Holotype AM ♂ (coll.: viii.1958, F. Myers), Oxford Falls, Narrabeen, New South Wales.
Introduction
This species is unknown to the compiler. It is a large species (up to 11.5mm) known from Stanthorpe in Queensland and two locations in the Sydney region of New South Wales.

Ecological Descriptors
All stages: gregarious, myrmecophilous, phloem feeder.
Diagnosis
Face of head black, yellowish below the eyes. Pronotum and scutellum black, narrowly brown against hind margins. Tegmen black, hind margin of clavus narrowly, and of costal area, narrowly or broadly, reddish brown; an anterior white fascia of varying shape and extent which may extend into the claval area; a posterior white fascia, transverse, narrow and curved or straight and widest against the costal margin. Length ♂ 9.2 mm, ♀ 1–11.5 mm (Evans 1969).
