In Wells, A. & Houston, W.W.K. Zoological Catalogue of Australia. Vol. 31.6. Melbourne : CSIRO Publishing, Australia. x 615 pp. (Waterhouse's (1903) reference to a type could be interpreted as a lectotype designation, but although there are specimens in the Macleay Museum that could be type material, their type status cannot be demonstrated).Type locality references:
