- Evans, H.E. 1972. Revision of the Australian and New Guinean species of Epipompilus (Hymenoptera, Pompilidae). Pacific Insects 14(1): 101–131 [101] (synonymised Epipompiloides Evans, 1961 and Epipilpomus Evans, 1962 with Epipompilus Kohl, 1884)
Introduction
Evans (1972) partly abandoned the subgeneric arrangement that he had used in his previous work and it is here ignored and the subgenera listed as synonyms. Harris, (1987:95) gives a good summary of the nomenclatural history of the genus.
